Hi, I’m Kath Keiper, creator of Chew Chew Chatter. I have been a paediatric speech pathologist for 15 years and I can honestly say, nothing makes me happier than when I connect with a child.
Through my time spent working I have met some amazing children of all ages and abilities. Having the opportunity to work with these incredible children and their families and being able to make a positive difference in their lives has really been the driving force behind the creation of my first DVD, “Can you sound like me?” Combining my passions of singing, entertaining and helping children develop speech and language skills, has resulted in the first of what I hope to be many DVDs to engage and connect with children everywhere. As a paediatric speech pathologist I have also been fortunate enough to speak about my experiences at varying events such as the World Autism Congress, Speech Pathology Australia’s PD events, and to the Victorian Department of Education in Melbourne Australia, however my biggest role to date has been becoming a mum to three beautiful children who while at times drive me crazy, make me laugh everyday….
I love to sing and find music to be a powerful way to engage and connect with all children. I hope you and your child enjoy “Can you sound like me?” as much as I enjoyed making it.
